How to Switch OFF/ON Outlet Ordering

The Crave platform allows authorised users easy access to manage their outlets availability to accept orders. You can switch off ordering in real time and switch it on again once you are ready to accept orders. Your guests will still be able to browse your menu but they will not be able to place orders until your outlet is switched on.

Outlet ordering can be switched OFF/ON on any mobile device by logging into the secure area of the Mobile Management Tool. 

1. Accessing the Mobile Management Tool

The first step is to access the Crave MMT. You will also need your username and password which was provided during your onboarding to access the secure areas. You can Learn More if this is your first time or you need further assistance. 

Select Switch Mobile Ordering OFF/ON.
Select Switch Mobile Ordering OFF/ON to access the secure area.

Enter your login details and select Login. 

2. How to Switch OFF/ON Outlet Ordering

The next steps describe how to Switch off/on outlet ordering for an individual outlet or multiple outlets if you have more than one. 

Select the green switch off button for the outlets you would like to disable mobile ordering.

Select OK on the message displayed to confirm that you would like to Switch off ordering for the chosen outlet.

The button will change colour to red to indicate the outlet is switched off. A message will be displayed to guests on the Mobile Order & Pay app to indicate ordering is currently unavailable, however they will still be able to browse the menu.

When you are ready to start accepting orders again, follow the steps above and select the red switch on button. The button will change to green to indicate that you are now accepting orders.
